Ruger M77 270 win, 100 year anniversary

Well, I'm giving another Lipsey's limited run another try. I'm nervous after the JT PPP issues but the M77 100 year 270 was to hard to pass up with only 270 being made. I will post pictures when it arrives.

The LGS had one Friday night so I took a look at it. Fairly good wood on it with an ebony tip and the gold Ruger emblem and the writing on the floor plate was nicely done.

Yes, I googled it and found a pic . Very nice , I have just bought a 257 Roberts Hawkeye or I would be thinking about on myself .

My Lipseys 270 100th anniversary M77 showed up yesterday. I must say I was much happier opening this one than the JT PPP! Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics. This rifle is well done and tasteful. Unfortunately being the soft hearted guy I am, there was a Sauer 200 that was also chambered in 270 Win that had been orphaned by its previous owner that needed a loving home. It came home with us too, I have to say that the Sauer has the slickest action I've seen and it is a beautiful piece of German craftsmanship.
