I purchased a new Ruger LCR and just finished firing 50 38 sp.
rounds through it.
The accuracy was good. The fouling was more noticable in the cylinder holes than in the barrel.
I also have a Ruger GP100 357. I never noticed that much more fouling in the cylinders than in the barrel.
Anybody have any ideas as to why??
Thanks

Did you shoot commercial short-barrel loads or something appropriate to barrel length? First guess, if reloads, is too slow a powder or too light a load.
