Hey everyone I'm new to the group. I just sent my lcp back to ruger for the third time for the same problem,failure to feed hollow points. I can shoot fmj all day long with out a problem. I asked this time to see if I can pay the difference for a max 9, if not I,m getting rid of the gun.What do you think is this possible ? I tried ftx critical defense ,xtp hornady black and xtp american gunner . Oh and that's with 3 different magazines.

I have two older first generation LCP. I've polished the feed ramps and the chambers a bit and finally went to heavier recoil
springs. Memory says 13 pound springs instead of the ( I think ) 9 or 10 pound.
This has made mine work to an acceptable level for carry. If the guns are clean and cold, as in not hot from extended range firing they
now work.
