Ruger Guys, it has been awhile since I've been here on the forum. I am into shotguns but I look at Ruger stuff for my buddy. I saw these grips for sale on www.trapshooters.com and thought I would share. I thought I paid a bunch for my shotgun stuff, but at $775 these must be really nice!

Hmm,

Obviously not "Ruger Factory" issued grips.

I see XR3-RED style.

The pic ain't the best, but, the ivory looks to be quite nice.

Yup, XR3RED's with "recent" medallions.

There's "ivory" and there's "sorta Ruger Ivory" like these and then there's "original, from-TheFactory, XR3 Ruger ivory".

And the "value" varies greatly, depending on how much of a stickler for originality you are.

And to think . . . originally the "real" ones were $16.50 as a "factory accessory".

Nice panels. Thanks for sharing.

$775! Ouch, I paid less than half that a few weeks ago for a set of elephant ivories that fit a SBH. No emblems but I knew they weren't factory so it didn't really matter. They will reappear laced onto a Hunter gripframe bolted to massaged 45 Colt as soon as Mr. Gallagher gets it done. Flatgate, your "shooter" gun pictures were the impetus for this mild custom job.
