Something you don't see every day but somehow I ended up with two pair of them. I took this pair along with another I own to the OGCA show in Ohio and ROCS display show in Tulsa a couple of years ago for "Inspection". There were no dissenters on whether they were factory Ruger Ivories, and the comment was made they were likely a later pair as the striking on the medallion stakes were very light. The earlier sets had a harder strike, but the result was more of them were broken in the staking process, so they lightened the blow to protect the ivory from breaking. There is a very faint what could be pencil marks near the stake holes that could be a number 10. These show very little aging and remain pretty white. Ruger only made these for the XR3 grip frames.
$3000 $2800 PENDING shipped. As always, a posted "I'll take it" has priority over a PM message or conversation in process. I can be reached via email at my username at Yahoo.com for questions or additional pictures. I am on the road for work a lot during the week so a posted "I'll take it" is recommended as it could be most of the day before I see any PM's. No electronic payments but a personal check is acceptable. These are also cross posted for sale on the ROCS forum so the posted "I'll take it" applies to both forums.
