Would anyone be interested in Displaying in Idaho?? I have talked with Lewis Clark Traders, They do most of the shows in Idaho and they seem to be interested in hosting a Ruger Collectors Display Show. I'm looking to see how much interest there may be before I continue on with this. This would be a Boise Idaho Show. Let me know your thoughts, Hank

:D Hey Hank, count me in. It would have to be in the Winter though as from now till we weather out, the job will keep my nose to the grind stone, my elbows out, and my feet flying...wait, can you work like that? I think for here in the back yard I could do some of the heavy lifting as far as kicking in some for prizes and coordinating a place for a get-together for the after the show lie swap and award dinner.. RB

 Whoa nellie....now wait just a dog gone minute here...we better think this through...you let those Wyo guys come and them Utes, why the next thing you know that gang of North Califorians will come lurkin around smellin for easy pickins...then them Texans lookin for cheap cardboard...you see where this could lead...we better worry about this for a little longer..RB

Have the show in the Winter and most of them would freeze to death then we can grab their Rugers......

:D

However, I can vouch for them Utah Boy's..... they're kinda tough!

How far from Maine is Idaho? More than a couple hour drive?
Idaho borders on Canada so it can't possibly be more than an hour drive.

I'll get the dates and post them tonight or tomorrow. I believe the show is in January. That would be plenty of time to plan and get things ready. I'll get the exact information and get back. Glad to hear of the interest. Hank

I'm in. Could throw some kind of display together and help out. Don't forget the Oregon and Washington folks, they've been pretty good to us Idaho guys lately. Sounds like fun :!:

Maybe less than an hour in that case. The Canadian border is only a stone's throw from my back steps.

 Lets see Idaho borders Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and Canada, so we could let them in on a discount kinda deal cause Idaho just passed that law where you can buy long guns from surrounding states without an ffl thingy...So those are all just hour drives like someone was calculating, however, my kids live in Moscow, Idaho which is a little over half way to Canada from here and in the new Obination GMC Diesel It's 5 hours with SWBBO's Nez Pierce casino stop. Wheww we got some plannin calcalatin to do....RB Did he say Maine????Hey Max Load! aren't they building an interchange in your yard??

I'm getting interest from a couple of Colorado collectors already. Don has a "wall" of 200th Year No.1's and who knows what Johnny could dig up, I'm sure it would be a 2 digit Something-A-Ruger.

I agree with RB - timing will mean alot to me and couldn't be on top of Tulsa. Oct. 3-4 interfers with hunting and Dang, last L&C show in Boise is Nov 14 & 15 same as Tulsa. that leaves Nov 21-22 in Lewiston or Dec. 12-13 in Spokane (both dicey travel) so I dunno....keep talkin'
