John Dougan's Pistols and revolvers is a good one.
Know you Ruger single actions also by Dougan is another.
Encyclopedia of Ruger Semi-Automatic Rimfire Pistols - 1949-1992 by Chad Hiddleson is great for the Rimfire Mark I and II's

There are others but these would get you going.

Dougan's Pistols and Revolvers covers the Autos and Single Actions up to 1973. Nothing much out there for the Double Actions except Kuhnhausen's gunsmithing manual.

R.L. Wilson's Ruger and His Guns covers 'em all, albeit briefly with respect to variations, etc.

Hiddleson's Encyclopedia of Ruger 1949-1992 contains a wealth of data on the .22 cal. Semi-Auto Pistols.

Don Findley's Bill Ruger's .22 Pistol contains examples of some really interesting Auto's along with lots of information.

There are lots of others, as well.......
