Very nice. Can you tell me about the scope mount? I would like to mount a scope on my SBH Hunter but don't like the way the factory rings and integral mount makes the scope sit too far forward on the barrel. :)

Well this next week as soon as I have time I am going to try out some loads at 25 yards to sight it in. And then move onto the 50 yard range. And if all goes well I will go another time after loading some more to the 100 yard line. :).

My first load is a 300Gr HP GC with 21.O Gr of H-110 and a CCI-300 Primer in a Remington Case.

I dont know what your overall length is, but I have to recommend against your first load being at or above Hodgdon's published maximums.

Aggie 01 Thank You for your concern but it is a good load. I know for a FACT that many shoot the Lee 310Gr Bullet with 21.5 Gr of W-296 and or H-110.

As the 21.5 seems to be a magic number for this bullet. But I wished to see how it would do a wee bit under that.

If you like I will get back to you on the AOL of the Lee 310Gr?

I could give you info on my 300Gr HP GC but there are maybe only 25 molds out there for this bullet which was a Group Buy on the Cast Boolit forum.

I Shoot the Lee 310Gr RNFP GC with 21.O Gr of H-110 and a CCI-300 primer from my Marlin 1894 in .44 Mag and have found that load to be the most accurate for my Marlin. And I am just trying to stay with the same powder charge even though I size my bullets for my Ruger at a hair over .431 and my Marlin needs a .432.
