Decided to get some range time today.

I fired about 25 rounds of my reloads and a few factory.

Recoil is what I would expect from a 30-06 rifle of similar weight.

I am using a Leupold Freedom 1.5-4X20

I shot this group at 50 yards.

This rifle is very light and maneuverable.

I am thinking this rifle will make an ideal tool for Pig hunting in Texas this summer.

It has about the same power as a 444 Marlin with a bigger diameter bullet. It will shoot lengthwise through hogs. I shot a about 150lb hog in the face as it was facing me and it exited out the rump at about 100 yards. I reload it with Hornady 240gr XTP Mag bullets but have reloaded the 250gr FTX bullets also. You could flock shoot hogs if they are side by side.

Good gun for pigs, I'd say most shots are at 50yds. But without a thermal scope you will be handicapped.
