Ruger American, Mauser M66, Kimber 8400.

Good day.

We had a fun Saturday morning. Friend of mine got his new (old) Mauser M66 in 7x64. I invited him to come and shoot the rile at our place as he could not wait to try it out. The rifle worked just fine and shoots very nice. I had my Kimber 8400 338 WM (getting a new barrel soon) there and another friend of mine his American in 30-06. We went for a sun-downer after shooting and took a quick photo of the rifles with the sun going down in the background.



Used a mobile phone to take the picture but it looked quite nice.

Thank you guys.

We were laughing at our friend with the M66 as that drop in the stock and solid Mauser butt plate kicked him pretty good (left a nice blue spot on his shoulder, as he did not hold on to it properly). I had shoulder surgery and was shooting with wrong hand with the American and even with the stupid side of my body it seems as if it was quite a bit more pleasant to shoot the than the M66.
