I already have the 77V in 223, 25.06 and 308 and have just bought one in 6.5 Creedmoor - so I guess now i need to learn about the 6.5 Creedmoor.

I bought it for occasional longer range shooting, but will mostly be shooting 300 yds or so. Ordered some Hornady brass and Sierra 120 grain MK BTHP bullets. I haven't been able to find any reloading date, anyone got a source and experience with the cartridge?

Hornady has some listed on their website. They found H4350 to be the most accurate, and they load that in their factory offering.

I was really looking for that rifle!

Thanks, I hit the Hodgden web site and found a bunch of loads. Tell you the truth, I'd just as soon as gone with a 260 Remington, I don't see a heck of a difference between the two. But I have a 260 barrel for my Encore so what the heck, something different.

There is a 6.5 Creedmoor sitting on GB now, BTW.
