Has anybody ever seen a tang safety 77 in 223? I've lurked around a lot of gun shows and wasted an awful lot of time on the gun sites, but have never seen one for sale. The Ruger site lists them as having been made, but I suspect they are as scarce as 416 Taylors. I've never even seen a tang safety with a small case head bolt on it.
I have and RS in 22 250, great shooter, but a bit heavy. To me a 223 with a 20 inch barrel in an RLS version would be about ideal, for me.

Black Fly,

I have asked this before and if I remember correctly the consensus is Ruger did not make the M77 in .223 BUT never say never with Ruger. It is a rifle I look for when I am out and about, but have never seen...
