Thanks for the feedback, Jim. I had my 77RS on my table on Saturday for $525.00, but I accepted an offer of $500.00. It sold by early afternoon. I was almost ashamed of myself for pricing it that high but someone gave me cash for it. I also sold a 6" stainless Security Six that was in decent shape for $425.00. It was not in NIB condition, but it worked fine. I was sure I'd hear comments or grumbling about that one, but it sold in the first half hour. Who would have thought? A Ruger collector had the table next to mine told me after I sold it that he came over and looked the rifle over very closely and thought it was priced about where it should have been.
I also bought a 1958 4 5/8" .357 Flattop for $400.00 before the show opened. It was a little holster worn, but had the original hard rubber grips and was very presentable. I saw it and grabbed it without looking at it very carefully. After I bought it someone pointed out to me that it had been converted, and after I settled down and looked at it more I noticed a small chip on the front of one of the grip panels. I thought I could switch the parts from my gun that had been drilled and tapped to this one to return it to original, but after a while I put it back on the table for $550.00. Someone came along an hour or so later and gave me $500.00 for it.
I left on Saturday with more than enough money for the purpose I had in mind and had a great time with my friend at the show.
