I need some help in removing the stock on a fingergroove. I removed the screw through the front sling swivel and now the front is loose, but I see no screw at the rear. The online owners manual talks only about the standard carbine stock...... Help

Thanks

Try lifting the barrel straight up. The receiver should be "hooked" to a piece that is in turn held in place by a long machine screw accessed through a hole in the stock.

If the barrel and action will not come free by lifting straight up then the machine screw in the stock will have to be removed. Need a long screwdriver for this.

Move the operating handle on the bolt toward the rear as the front of the barrel is pivoted upward to unhook the rear of the receiver from the recoil plate.
