Ruger .40cal carbine

Has anyone had personal experience with a .40 caliber carbine and if so would you review that performance with a .40 vs a .44 mag.

I have A PC 40 cal carbine , great little carbine , very strong made , but I don't have no 44 mag to compair , but I can say is if you don,t have A 40 carbine and you find one get it before some one else gets it , its powerfull enought for close combat and personal defence.
