I think I like the Ruger price better, if I wanted one. I just bought my first 1911 in 38 Super, so have my own ammo dilemma at the moment.

I wasn't too interested until I held one. The cylinder looks a little odd with all the extra holes and flutes but I am getting one today. I have a birds head grip frame for it and my dealer often gets ammo so I'm a bit excited about shooting it. I love my 30 Carbine but why not have a stainless version?

so this is the reasoning behind it. i didnt realize someone was trying to beat them to the punch.

USFA did beat Ruger to the punch. The Sparrowhawk was announced months ago and their regular SAA was offered in a special holiday deal before Christmas as a .327/.32-20 convertible.

I sure am glad that ammo availability at Walmart doesn't dictate what guns I buy or cartridges I enjoy. The .327 is cheap and easy to load for and brass is available from FA.
