What's the difference (if any) between the magazine used with the Ruger 10/22 semi auto vs. the Ruger 77/22 bolt action, and how do you tell the difference?

The 77/22 magazines have a sloped (front to back) bottom that matches the contour of the stock.

The magnum magazines are the same, but the stock contour on the 10/22M isn't as full in front of the magazine well as is the standard 10/22.

Mine aren't identical, the ones for my 10/22 will fit in my 77/22 but
they are shorter bottom to top and are tricky to extract as a result
besides the part numbers from Ruger are different as well.

Thanks guys! Now I got it figured out. It's easy to see the difference once you lay one beside the other. Few other things that I notice. The 77/22 mag will sit flat on a level surface whereas the 10/22 mag will wobble. Also, the 77/22 mag has a "tab" on the rear of the mag to, I suppose, facilitate extraction. The 10/22 has no tab. One other thing, the 10/22 mags are marked "10 shot" on the front. The 77/22 mags are unmarked on the front end.
