Is there anything especially rare about clear plastic Ruger 10/22 magazines?

I just got a 10/22 in trade that has 3 clear mags with the Ruger logo.

Maybe they always existed and I just didn't notice them. If that's the case, I apologize for the dumb question.

remember ,over time, that "nice, shiny , clear..." will dirty -up and look pretty nasty ....been there ,done that.............neat to have one, show 'new shooters' "how things work..." and they were intended for the 40th anniversary guns, and Ruger just keeps making them.......as long as they keep selling, they should keep making them......

Is kind of nice to know when they are full, my 10/22 is often a coyote gun so being able to look at the magazine and know its full is nice.

Interesting thing is that they can be dyed any color you can find Ritt dye for. Saw it on a post somewhere, maybe here. I've been thinking about doing a pink one for my daughter to match her pink 10/22.

I like the clear magazines, usually wait until they are on sale to buy them. About 1/2 my 10/22 magazines are the clear ones and I've got about 20 of them.
