I mounted one of these on my 10-22 TD and zeroed the red dot just above the front sight at 25 yards. It's a wonderful option with a lot of different applications, so I highly recommend one. It's super easy to instal and looks like it's part of the synthetic stock. You can buy a 10-22 from the factory with one already attached or buy one separately like I did.

They fit the laminated stock models as well. Any with a front barrel band. It took me several reads thru the instructions to figure out how to get it over the front sight (my shortcoming, not the instructions) and it mounted quite easily. Surprisingly bright. I need a few more rounds at the range to get it zero'd properly. One mounted from the factory would likely be closer to POA, but the website does say they are pre-set..
