So, I bought a used Rossi 92 a couple days ago. One of the screws in the side of the receiver was missing. (Yes, I knew it when I bought it). I called up Rossi. Was on hold for at least 20 minutes. Had the part number, told the lady what I wanted. Put me back on hold for 5 more minutes. Came back and told me it was a "restricted part" and I would have to send the rifle back to get the part, and pay them to work on it! You got to be freaking kidding me! I found the screw on ebay and ordered it, but that has to be the most ridiculus thing I have ever heard!

All you can do is tell people, let them know, if they're thinking about a Rossi, that's the support network they are buying into…

Mine was made for Navy Arms in late 70s or early 80s. Nice rifle, octagon 20" barrel, walnut stocked, case harden look receiver in .357 cal. I added a tang peep sight, a better mag. spring and replaced the plastic mag cap with a steel one. It was unfired when I got it in 2013? I had to do a complete tear down to get harden oil off the internal parts. I slicked up the action. Sat watching Gun Smoke and levered the thing untold times over a few hours. It works 100% no failed parts, I guess I am approaching 800 rounds through it. It even shoots well enough to hit clay targets at 50 yds.

I also have a pre-safety version from 1987 and it's flawless. Support? It's a real Rossi so the current company could not care less about me or my rifle.

But I don't expect them to just like I don't expect Ruger to care about a JM Marlin or Remlin.
