ROA question

Are the bore dimensions of the Old Army the same as the .45LC ?
Can I expect to use the same projectiles in the ROA, RH and the rifle I'm thinking of buying?
I been thinking about getting back into the black powder world......but all these question keep popping into my pointy little head.... :?:

Ruger used the same barrel stock for the ROA as they did for the Blackhawk. That's why there are conversion cylinders made for the ROA to use 45 Colt ammo.
However,, I'd think the best projectiles for the ROA will still be the normal round ball it was designed for when using BP.

+1 . .457 ball is perfect for the ROA.
