So long Jack... :(

I loved the Superman TV series... Not sure, but Jack's probably the last surviving member of the cast... Jack was 87.

Hi,

Always liked his Jimmy Olsen character--it's hard to believe that fresh, still wet behind the ears "kid" was 87! RIP, Mr. Larson: hope you guys get the newsroom going again wherever you are...

That was a long time ago. He always seemed like he liked his job. RIP

Didn't Reeves die quite young (even though he was an oldish Superman)?
And by his own hand? Or was that myth?

Hi,

George Reeves was 45 when he died. I recall suicide being the official ruling when I was a kid, but a quick search today reveals some controversy about whether the gunshot that ended his life was self-inflicted, whether intentional or accidental, or possibly a homicide. Guess we'll never know...

Rick, thanks for the refresher.
Now I also recall the murder?suicide? debate or controversy.
If it wasn't resolved over 50 years ago I have to agree that we'll never know.
Anyway, RIP Jimmy Olsen.
