Excellent condition Rock Island Armory/Armscor (Philippines) 5 inch steel frame 1911 in 9mm. I bought this new around a year ago. I maybe have 150 rounds through it. It's ran flawlessly and shoots to POA. I did do a few modes. I replaced the trigger with a 3 hole & added the standard GI style spring guide. I also had to shorten the grip screws, as they were protruding into the frame and preventing the mag from inserting. But they should work with any normal size grips (comes with thin rubber grips shown). This model comes with a memory bump beavertail grip safety (very similar to an ed brown), Novak style sights (orange paint on front), ambi-safety, and serrated front strap. This is an upgraded version from a standard GI style. Some slide to frame movement with a little movement when you push down on the barrel hood. But overall, a pretty decent gun for the price point. This would also make a good candidate for the MEUSOC if you add wrap-a-around Pachmayr grips. I had it set-up for a while like that. Gov. 9mm are a joy to shoot with very little recoil.
