Revolver vs Pistol barrel lengths?

What pistol barrel length would be comparable to a 3in barrel on a revolver?

Again, thanks for any help as I know nothing about revolvers.

3" + cartridge length will get you close. Revolver barrel length is measured from the cylinder face and does not include the chamber as do pistol barrel dimensions.
