According to the letter I received yesterday, my opinion represents the
opinion of one thousand others! ( . )

I received a letter from Gallup polls and they helped make me richer! By a
WHOPPING one dollar (US currency)! ( . . )

They wanted to know if I thought I was doing well, was I depressed (said
NO, no matter how I feel), do I feel we are doing better than a few years
ago (with the change in Presidents, it HAS to be an improvement), what
sex does it say on my birth certificate and do I "identify" with it (sheesh!),
and a bunch of other yawners.

Several of them were transparent as to what they were really looking for,
so I went with what I thought and folded in a fudge factor to the sliding
scale. - - If it IS actually from Gallup, then 95% of what I said is true. If
it is a ploy to do something else, I weighted it toward a more conservative
opinion.

The last item on the form was a space to put in my E-mail address. I
decided to not provide it, just in case they were willing to spend a dollar,
just to get another E-mail address. I used [email protected]. If they
try to use that, they will find something they didn't want.

It's amazing how much time you can waste when you are retired.

:D

Are you sure you don't want to alter your birth certificate?

I don't trust any of these polls etc anymore.

I never respond to internet surveys from anywhere.

My car service guy, my dentist, my plumber, I don't work for you. So, no, you don't use my time for your benefit..

If I'm dissatisfied with your efforts ...I'll call.

I think my birth certificate still has the date I changed it to long ago, so I could buy liquor before I was 18 years old............
