The latest RENE had an article on the Super Bearcat. Here is one of the guns featured. Serial number 91-06638 factory letter stating being shipped October 1972. One of three blued trigger guard and without 22 Cal on barrel.

Nice one, so is it a "transition" or a "parts bin" gun????
those early SBCs seemed to bounce back and forth with the left over parts from the BC-4's and the change to the "all steel" trigger guard, final "Super"BC.......
