Wasn't all that long ago I could buy 1650 rounds of Rem GBs at Walmart for about $33. And did. Many, many times. :wink:

I shot Rem Goldens in a SS 5.5 Single Six. And a SS Mark II Target. I sent golf balls flying and a Jack Russel dog was digging fat moles out of ground. So the dog would bring moles to me,, I put them in the road, sat in the shade and finished them off!

I'm definitely a Winchester & CCI guy ! Not only do they function flawlessly, they have also proven themselves to be the most accurate in all 7 of my .22's. I do also shoot quite a bit of the Federal Bulk packs just plinking, without incident, but do not get quite the accuracy of the WW & CCI.
