Heard from a pretty good source that Remington will start producing 1911 pistols again. Will be introduced at SHOT

Here is the part that I love...will be built in Tennessee. Woohoo!!!!!





With all the money the gun manufacturers made over the past year....SHOT is going to be VERY interesting this year.

Not "again." Remington Arms never made 1911A1 pistols during WWII. That was Remington-Rand, the typewriter company.

But Remington-UMC did make 1911's starting around 1917. My Grandfather has one. Apparently Reminton-UMC made about 22,000.

If their razor blade line is any indication....man this 1911 will be nice

I'll sure check 'em out ... like I NEED ANOTHER 1911. Same as I'd check out Ruger's 1911, if it ever happens.
