I have a couple hundred 356 dia bullets {9mm} Any harm in loading up some 38 special or 357 mag with these bullets? I realize the accuracy may suffer and I may have to use a hard taper crimp to keep them in place.
Thank you
Jeff

It seems you understand what may happen,, so to answer your question; "No harm" will happen. In a Ruger SA Blackhawk,, they sell a .9mm/.357 convertible. It'll shoot but as you know,, accuracy may suffer a little.

As long as they aren't cast lead there shouldn't be any problem. Undersized cast lead can leave lead in your barrel.

No technical advice, just anecdotal. When we were in our 20's- I had a buddy who loaded up a box of hot .357's with light 9mm hollow point bullets. Don't remember the brand bullets or the load. I do remember the accuracy was dismal- but when you hit a watermelon with one, it vaporized. ( We had the produce manager save all the "bad" produce for us- never ran low on targets. )
