I have a Redhawk, 7.5" barrel with the Weigand full length scope rail.
Just bought a Galco Kodiak Hunter shoulder holster and discovered that the muzzle end of the rail is too wide to fit fully down into the holster. The leather is double layered at that point, so stretching doesn't seem to bean option.
I am thinking of removing about an inch of the scope rail flanges (under the double set screws in the photo), which should allow it to fit.
Does anyone have a different solution?

Excellent in all respects.

If I don't get a good recommendation, I'll start off by rounding or tapering the front of the rails.
Confident I can make it work, just hating to start modifying new stuff.
