Redhawk rear sight ?

A buddy of mine just picked up a Redhawk , 7.5" in a .41 Mag. It has a scope mounted and is missing the rear sight. He would like to put a sight back on it. I looked at Midway and some other places and came to the conclusion that it is the same sight as a GP-100. Am I correct? Does the Blackhawk etc. also use the same rear sight? I have one of those lying around that I can give him if it fits.

Yep, most all the new ones are the same even on Blackhawks.

Ruger wouldn't be Ruger without all that parts interchangeability!

A Bowen or a Millett will also work...........
