I saw a picture of a Regular (non-Super Redhawk) with the same grips as the GP100's came with... the ones with the wood inserts.

Are those available for a regular 5.5" Redhawk? I think those were some great feeling grips on the GP's..... would love to try a set for a Redhawk if it's possible.

Thanks!

Pics if ya got em!

I saw a picture of a set of original 2 piece wood insert grips on a Ruger Redhawk once also but that was a custom job. Just finding 2 piece original GP wood insert grip would be near impossible.

I have considered cutting a grip in half on a band saw and maybe putting a set together but I doubt the chance of success would be better than 50/50. The rubber is just too soft.

I just received a set of the original type, two piece, grips from the Ruger website. $47.45 delivered.
#70083, "Panels-Rubber Grip"
They're for my new GP-100 that came with the Hogues on it.
They came with the screw and both bushings.
I like the original look much better and they match the ones
on my SRH44
