Hello gang, I was wondering if Ruger (or anyone else) made Ruger Redhawk (factory style) Wood Grips in the same lamo-wood as the SBH Hunter?

Thanks' Bud (knuckles)

Hi Bud

I believe all that Ruger has in wood redhawk grips is the Rosewood with medallions--same as they have been installing for years. I know that Lett used to make the lamo's with and without medallions. I managed to find a set at a gun show--black/silver laminated with ruger medallions.

Keep your eye peeled too for some of the more "choice" grain on standard take off grips that are available. Some are very attractive and reasonably priced.

Is this to replace the rubber on a 4 incher?? If so--GOOD MOVE!!

Yes Sir, though I like the Hogue Bantam... the factory wood with a Tyler "T"-grip is probably the route I'll go for my 4" Redhawk.

I kind of wanted to match grips with my SBH Hunter that's sitting in lay-a-way... I may just try my hand at making one myself.

I appreciate your response Ron.
