Local guy has a RL sporting clays 12 ga. 30" barrells and briley 28 ga. tubes with sk/sk for the tubes and 5 factory chokes and 2 comp chokes and 2 carlson chokes. He started asking 1400.00 and is know down to 1200.00. I cant find any for sale to go by. I am not really interesed in the tubes but he wont sell gun without the tubes. Do yall think 1200 is fair or should I offer a little less.. Also gun was made around 93. Any feedback would be great. Thanks

$1200 is about the going price for a new one. The 5 chokes that come with a Red Label are Briley chokes, and are as good as anything else you can get. Having only the 28 gauge tubes is kind of strange.... generally, a skeet shooter will have all the subgauge tubes.... 20, 28, and .410. If you're not interested in the tubes, that's bargaining leverage for you.

Condition determines value.... what kind of shape is the gun in?

I have a 20 year old Red Label in 12 gage.

No scratches, perhaps 4-5 boxes of #8 or similar through it.

Very nice gun, but probably not a good time to sell it

No choke tubes, Improved cylinder and modified if I remember right.

Seems like it ought to be worth a grand....
