An 28 gage RL just went for $1600+ on Gunbroker. Box, chokes,papers, wrench. A couple of blemishes on the wood. Previous owner / idiot installed a recoil pad that's fugly.

Is this close to the going rate on the 28s?

It seems the 28 gauges are the most pricey and the 20 gauge a close second. 12 gauge seem to be the best value. All the old guys selling them to all the young guys I guess.
