Recoil Pad Suggestions

I ordered a stock number 10001 from Limbsaver for my 77 Hawkeye RSI. It was supposed to fit, but it's too long and a bit too narrow.

Any other suggestions?

I have Pachmayer as well- Aftermarket pads seem to need some fiddling with to get them right.

I think the new red one on your rifle looks classic though and the new pads are better than the old Ruger pads.

Is it a looks issue or recoil absorption you wish to change?

Recoil...I forgot that the .308 bolt guns kick a helluva lot harder than my M1A or FAL...
