Hello, l recently traded into a 1981 Speed Six. Ss 32-L
2 3/4 barrel .357. Box and manual. Pistol is flawless other than a slight turn line. Can't seem to find others to put some kind of value on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How would what l traded affect the value.? It was 1 of 2 l recieved for another pistol.

Yes, a 2 3/4", blued, Speed Six, .357 mag. with a factory lanyard ring would be considered 'rare'.
Value is a function of supply and demand. There are only a few true Speed Six collectors. Therefore, demand is not as high as one might think.
I'd suggest a $100 to $200 premium over the same gun (package - box, etc.) without the lanyard ring.

Thank you for the insight. Think l just might hang on to it a bit longer. See how it's value developes over time.

Condition will be a big factor. There are a lot of lanyard ring guns out there that still remain NIB.
The RCA (Ruger Collector's Association) sold a bunch through that organization in the 1980's, the other was a blue Service-Six.
And I guess the other thing I should ask...does your gun have U.S. stamped on it? If so, the rarity and $ figure goes up.

For me, and only my opinion, the lanyard ring adds nothing.
The US marked .... different story.

It is an Rca pistol. Other than a slight turn line its beautiful. No visible U.S. marking. And l have not pulled the grips to check there either. But from what l gather those over run Rca pistols were never marked.

I have not seen any collector rush to buy any of the speed sixes. I've seen high prices on GB but I have not seen these guns sell , just time out. The 32L is definitely unique but probably go for 500-600 if you find interested parties.
