Local shop has an unconverted 3-screw that seems to lock up tight and is good mechanically.
It has some rust on the cylinder and a rust spot on the top of the frame along with a few other beauty marks. Bore and cylinders are very dirty.
I'd rate it between 85-90%.
Serial numberis 45-115**.
What would you pay for it?
Thanks!

Short barreled 45 OM's are scarce enough to warrant even as much as $400 or more for one like you described. It cna be cleaned up & made into a great shooter! And any good rare OM that's a shooter is a lot of fun to enjoy.

Total production of Old Model .45's is in the 22,000 range. There were actually more .44 Flattops produced.

Let your conscience be your guide, or, in other words, buy it.

I have over $400 in my desecrated OM .45. (It left to AH's shop yesterday) It did come with a .45 ACP cylinder and a brass grip frame tho.

I just realized I did not specify that it was a 7.5" barrel.
If it were the 4 5/8" I would have already bough it becasue I liek the shorter barrels for packing/hiking.

Ok, the 7-1/2" barrels are not quite as chased by us,, like the 4-5/8" ones are,, BUT,, they are STILL very desirable. I'd buy that gun, and not hesitate.
