I just got my SR1911 and I came across 10 boxes of PMC Bronze that is 230 gr. Has anyone tried that through the SR1911 and how does it feed? Thanks guys.

Any 45acp 1911 should run any 45acp ammo ... Period.

Same as any other 45acp gun.

I've found that PMC ammo seems a bit on the lighter side, but it should be OK unless you're using a really heavy, after market recoil spring.

PMC does seem to be around at good prices. I also think it is for sure not hot, but 100 rounds went through my SR1911s O.K.

New to the forum and saw this post when searching ammo. I bought the SR1911 earlier this year and picked up the PMC Bronze .45 when I bought I since that's all that they had. I had at least 1-2 misfeeds with each magazine when using it. I then bought some Blazer and either some Winchester or Remington (can't remember which) and they all shot just fine. I've tried the PMC since then and still have the same problems. Well over 500 rounds through the gun and only problems is with the PMC. Even reloads from the range fired flawlessly.
