I am curious about this revolver. I don't understand what the description is saying?

It includes the .45 Colt cylinder but not the ACP?

The frame mates up with the grip frame?

Are these distributor exclusives? Or custom build jobs? What is the meaning by the serial numbers clearance?

Sorry I'm confused.
I want to buy one, but want to know it's what I want before I fork over the $$

From what I can understand...if you wanted to fit a larger cylinder, like maybe for a .480 or .500,there would be enough material left, after you machine some away, for the serial number to be intact?
But what you are buying is a fancied up .45 Colt that could be converted for a larger caliber.

Yea, he got of got a little carried away with the description.
The serial number thing doesn't mean anything.

If it only has the 45 Colt cylinder then it's the model #0470.
If it had the extra 45acp cylinder it would be the model #0472.
That's from Ruger's website.

I have the 0470 and it is my favorite 45 Colt revolver.

Buy now for 600 is a very good price. They are a dealer exclusive and getting very hard to find.
It is a fantastic 45 Colt revolver. I highly recommend you buy it.

Ok I just noticed that, I was actually looking at this item in another window:

I thought it was the same at first.

I'd really prefer to have the one with both cylinders...

I may go ahead and buy it in that case.

What would it take to make this a .454?

If you want a 454, then buy one of the new Super Blackhawks in 454. Model 0871.

It's a dealer exclusive too.

I have the Williams convertion version of this pistol. I've have enjoyed it so far! I did buy it on this forum, just don't remember who it was from. I really like the black laminate grips to boot.

gunsbam69 is a gentleman and a topnotch guy to do business with. I was a member of this forum for all of 4 days when I purchased the Bisley model 0472 (.45 Colt w/.acp cylinder xtra) through him. Since then I've purchased at least 5 or 6 more firearms from him and that number would have been double that had the state I live in (MA) not put out an idiotic "Compliance Sheet" in Sept 2014. Basically, if the handgun you want isn't on that sheet, it's illegal to sell or buy in MA. Please, don't bother trying to try to understand this policy with common sense logic, you'll just go mad.

Anyway, gunsbam69 is a genuine stand-up guy, a real rarity amongst business dealers of any product. You simply can't go wrong purchasing a gun from him. Besides, you'll get the best price as well!
