Caveat: it's not a Ruger so, I didn't see another forum for "misc."
I'm setting up a Remington 870 Express for turkey and coyotes. I discarded the 18 inch barrel and replaced it with a Remington barrel with rifle sights.
I also want a picatinny rail on the receiver so I can install a QD Red Dot for low light conditions. Then, in daylight, I pull off the Red Dot and use the rifle sights.
Anybody here do anything similar? Cause, I'm wondering if the rail will obscure the rifle sights.
