From what I can find, I think the answer is "no", but I want to ask the experts here to make sure: Did Ruger ever produce a single-stack decocker model in 9mm for its P series?

Thanks!

No.
All the P-series 9mm use the same mags. Double stack. (includes rifle PC-9)
All the P-series 40 cal use the same mag too, double stack. (includes rifle PC-4)
All the P-series 45 cal use the same mags as well, single stack.

Looking for a single stack to carry? I don't have one but a friend has a Sig 938 and he just got a used PM9 by Kahr. Both small pocket type single stack. Hold 6 or so rounds.

Thanks guys. That's what I figured. I have a P95 and love the decocker DA/SA features, but looking for the same in a single-stack. I understand the sig 938 is SA only and the Kahr PM9 is DAO?

They don't make them anymore & I don't know the exact model numbers but there were some 3rd generation S&W semi-autos that fit the description of what you're looking for IIRC. That might be something for you to check out if you are okay with a used gun.

Yeah the sig is like a baby 1911, single action and the PM9 is like a baby glock. I wouldn't really call it DAO but sorta.

Thanks for the suggestions folks. Looks like I've got several to check out. I also understand there's a compact version of the Beretta 92 that has all the features I'm looking for.

That would be the 3900 series compact or 5900 series full-size. According to my magic decoder ring, it should be a 3923, 3933, 3973, 5923, 5933, or 5973. The key is a 2, 3 or 7 in the third digit. Unfortunately, I've never seen any of these model numbers; only 3913, 3953, 5903, 5943, 5906, 5946, and maybe a few others. Here is the key to S & W semi autos: http://world.guns.ru/handguns/hg/usa/sw-39-59-and-others-e.html

The 3rd gen Smiths are great guns, by the way. I have a 4013TSW and absolutely love it.
