"I figure that if the price was good then they can give me a brown paper sack to haul it home in, don't need the original box. Just might go by there today and talk to the 'man'."

Make him throw in a box of ammo,,, that'll show him! :D

I was telling Will that I am going to offer him $500.00 and ask that he throw in a box of ammo. If he says no then the original price is fine but I am going to ask for the ammo regardless. I am going to be a bachelor for the next week so I will have plenty of 'range time'.

I usually try to haggle with the price and at a LGS it's usually asking tax included or out the door for the price, that usually works. I don't need the ammo, I reload myself. And if it comes with a box, take it too because the next buyer might want it if you end up selling the gun at some point.

Well he wouldn't go along with $525.00 to include a box of ammo BUT I did get the whole package for that price "out the door". That was included the Md Sales tax (6% {$31.50} plus the $10.00 the MD State police get for the BS paperwork I have to have to purchase) so the pistol itself cost me $483.00

The original owner bought it to carry and after he got it decided it was too heavy.
