Question....older Single-Six flat-top with f-gate value

I may have a line on a very clean one...95% + with five-digit serial #

Anyone have a thought or two about what I should expect this gun is worth??

Well, to correct you a little bit,, the Single-Six is not a Flattop. But, a Flatgate in 95% depending upon which type etc, and a few other things could be in around the $400 mark.

I got off my mindless rear-end and remembered to check out my R.E.N.E. data...
Looks like (based on s/n) a "Type 3 flatgate" (RSS5)...
I will have more info soon if I can make a deal with the gentleman.

It sure is a sweet looking revolver.

The RSS5 model designation appeared long after the demise of the Flatgates. RSS would be proper since ALL steel framed Single-Sixes during that era had 5-1/2" barrels. The early, Flatgate Lightweights, LWAC, were fitted with 4-5/8" barrels.

Flatgates are getting hard to find lately better get it if you can and it has right features :!: old model 41 's are showing up in north Alabama 8) a friend of mind has found 2 in 98% condition in last couple mo.----no boxes just the guns.

The gun does not have a box, but it's pretty darn sweet. I will certainly post a few pics when the guns arrive.
