I found a single six that the 6 digit sr# starts with 37**** the chart I found has 6 years missing. So it would seem to me to be from the missing years. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks

Old Models were only made from 53 to 73 Is this a NM or a OM?
Look here on the home page for "year made" you can look at some beautiful grips while there. www.clccustomgrips.com

not until later, when folks wanted a 'convertible', like Colt , the first 22 Magnum only Single Sixes were just that, 22 magnum Marked on the left side of the frame...as for the Single Six, throw in the D marked guns of 1961 D181600-D1825897
and the 1962 :187367 to 196942 and 244020 to 244318 and 340259 to 351441
1963: 351442
1964: 380382
1965: 409921
1966: 434541
1967: 475650
1968: 490278-500421
and another batch of D guns 500000 to D505140 and the 800000 to 824406 and some guns in early 1969 824407 to 833352, and thank the Gun Control Act of 1968 to give us the 20 prefix guns in 1969!

this info is found in our RENE (Red Eagle News Exchange) thank you Chad
