Hi all,
I would like to know; is the new Ruger Bisley blackhawk flattop in 41 magnum built on the smaller New Vaquero frame/cylinder, or is it built on the larger first gen Vaquero and full size blackhawk frame/cylinder?

Don't gat too excited, they disappeared faster than a donut in front of Rosie O'Donnel.
In other words UNOBTAINIUM!!!!

After thinking a bit thought I would mention that the 50th anniversary 44, and there was an early run of 41's (Blued) that were built on the Large Frame.

The 44 Special, 45/45acp, the recently offered 41, and the John Taffin 45,,, are on the medium frame.
This picture for comparison.
Top gun, a 41 Large Frame early (~2006) AccuSport Blackhawk Bisley, not a flattop.
Bottom gun, a 41 Medium frame (2024) Blackhawk Bisley, FLATTOP.

FWIW; There are over 100 offerings on GunBroker.
However some of the calibers are not available, like the 41. They seem to have been bought up. But they were shipped with a bunch of complaints. Mine has been back to Ruger twice and it's still has issues that I will fix myself.
The JT special 45/45acp a lot of the same…🙄

The simplest way to determine frame size is to look at the serial number. Medium size frames have a three digit prefix, while the large frames are two digits.

What he said.
When in doubt look at the serial number prefix.
Two digit prefix: Big Frame, Three digits: Medium Frame.
