I purchased a used stainless Security Six 4 inch barrel and while cleaning it I found this pin. Does anybody know if this pin could have come out of the gun?? Its exactly 3/4" long.

If it came from under the grips, it is the take-down pin for the mainspring. It is stored inside the grip-locater roll pin, at the bottom of the grip frame.

WAYNO.

He is right.

You obviously have broken your gun and I will take it off your hands at a reasonable price......LOL! Yes, the elusive pin. Here's a pic of what it's supposed to be used for.

Here's another pic from the owners manual. Says "Lacking a disassembly pin, any similiar implement will suffice." That is such an implement in this case. Way longer than it needs to be.
