Anyone have issue with the ProMag 30 rd polymer mags for the Mini 14? I picked up two new ones at a local gun show a few weeks back and haven't had much luck. I can't get a new round to feed without having to push the slide assembly forward manually. I have no issues whatsoever with the 20 rd factory steel mags. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum!

There are folks that have had good luck with their after-market mags, but most of us have given up even thinking of using them. I've bought quite a few after-market mags thru the years, and very few of them have worked, consistently. Even the few that have worked, others of the same make and model have not.

So, I'm completely done with anything but genuine Ruger magazines.

WAYNO.

Thanks, I kind of figured that was going to be the answer. Too bad, the mags look really nice.
