Problems with GP100

The last time this was shot was several months ago when I let my son shoot it-it worked just fine at that time. Several days ago I took it out to show a friend and discovered a problem: I cannot cock the hammer back at all and it is very hard to pull the trigger. This is a complete mystery to me as the gun was locked up in my safe after it was last used. Any ideas? Thanks

Cylinder binding? Make sure its clean under the ejector star. Crud tends to get under there and prevents it from seating properly.

Carnage_7, I would take the gun down completely and thoroughly clean it looking for some part out of alignment or wack. Put it back together carefully making sure all the mating surfaces have a little drop of oil and move freely. Let us know how it works out.......................Dick
