I recently inherited my uncles .41 mag blackhawk. The problem is after dry firing it a few times it stops working. I pull the hammer back, pull the trigger and the hammer won't fall. It will fire if I nudge the hammer forward, or if I leave it set for awhile it will work a few times then stop again. I'm guessing it needs a good cleaning as nothing seems to be broken but maybe someone with more experience than I can shed some light.
